In my country, it is utmost impossible to share our mental health issue with other people.

Why, since mental health is still taboo. When people learn about our issue, they will avoid us like plague and the employment world will be closed forever.

The only way to share my issues is through a semi anonymous Mastodon account.

Note: since English is not my native language, I often edit my posts to make them easier to read or to fix grammar mistakes.

@ed1conf Well, an editor with so many plugins can be a lean one sometime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl0HqlbX7dc #Emacs

I am currently working on delivery, especially food delivery for around 8 into 9 hours a day. The daily income is very small. It is not enough to meet my family daily needs. And I often felt down, especially at the end of the day when I took a look at my earning of the day on the app. But all of this dejected feeling has been always gone with the wind when I rode my bycycle. After cycling, my fighting spirit is always reborn, like a conqueror ready to conquer the entire of the universe! Byc...

After decades of living on this earth, I realized that my mental health issues destroyed some aspect of my body, such as bad dental and mouth health. I had had no any energy at all to brush my teeths, now I suffer from chronic periodontitis and super bad breath. Since regularly cycling, I found out that I began to have the energy to take care myself. I began water flossing, brushing my teeths using sonic electric brushing, and scrapping my tongue. Of course I also went to the dentist as well....

@mmcvuur@bsd.cafe What does about FreeBSD, NetBSD and Slackware?

@felix@wandering.shop Well, perhaps because mathematics is truly a magic. Even the fact that we can calculate something using the concept of limit is a magic as well.

@TheLastOfHisName@beige.party May I know your favorite part of the trilogy? I ever made the trilogy my dinner friend for an extended period of time around 23 years ago. Unfortunately, it was also the last time I read it.

@AverageDog@mastodon.social May be you will be interested on this short film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTDdIO74BuA From the movie description: During dinner, "the system" feeds the few who consume all the resources while the rest survive on scraps. Inevitably, the struggle for what remains leads to catastrophic change. The offspring of this transition turns out not to be a sign of hope, but the spitting image of the parents. #Capitalism #Feodalism #Movie

@benjamineskola@hachyderm.io @divyaranjan@mathstodon.xyz @marekfort@mastodon.online Ahhh I think I knew what you meant. It is 'C-h t' isn't it? And yes, it is super helpful to start learning emacs.

@divyaranjan@mathstodon.xyz @marekfort@mastodon.online I will make a comparison. Editor like Atom, VSCode and Zed are a Toyota. Very nice car indeed. But Emacs is a battle tank or Apache helicopter or even an alien mother ship. People will find it much easier to drive a Toyota. But people need lot of practice to drive a battle tank. #Emacs #Atom #VSCode #Zed Yes, I agree with you that we can use other editor suitable for our situation'

@tusharhero@mathstodon.xyz If a software is intuitive enough, new users can use it after a little bit of practice. Sorry for my bad English.

@divyaranjan@mathstodon.xyz @marekfort@mastodon.online @fsf@hostux.social @conservancy@social.sfconservancy.org Emacs is such a wonderful editor. But it has a huge advantage and a problem at the same time. It is highly efficient and highly intuitive for those proficient with it. But need time to practice and highly UNintuitive for those starting to use Emacs. Many people need editor which can be used fast. #Emacs #Zed #VSCode

@audubonballroon@mastodon.social If his right or left hand touch his chest, it would easily become extreme regret, because the pain in the chest is very real when I experienced it. (Based on my own experience)

@edbilodeau@mastodon.social I really love old magazines and old ads is for this specific reason; things we now take for granted, such as file sharing between operating systems was ever being so advanced and 'magnificent' at some points in the past.

@starringthecomputer@mas.to I really love the cover design of the iBook. Somehow, I often think this lovely iBook as a SGI one.

@riley@toot.cat My ADHD had been pushing me into so many directions. I was an expert on Song and Tang dynasties at certain times in the past. Then, I was a Scheme programmer for another times. Then, I was a meditator. Then I was an expert on Psalms. Then at Tao Te Ching. Then expert at WordPress & Excel. Then expert at so many other things. But those expertises were gone with the wind when I lost the interest on them. Now, may be I can say that I am an expert at none. #ADHD

@toomanysecrets@mastodon.social I saw it when I was still an innocent little boy. I remember some of the crews returned to 40s or 50s and one of them had a short of romantic relationship with a young lady. When they returned to their time, the young lady was already an old, but still a very beautiful lady.

@awb@mastodon.sdf.org Sometime I feel shell programming similar with VBA programming. They are of course different technologies with different purposes. But I always feel they are somewhat similar, like cousins.

@blenderdumbass I found an interesting case. Some people shy at admitting that their product is in fact an open core product. DocuSeal called itself as an Open Source Core. Note: I am equally cool with libre, open source, open core and proprietary software. #DocuSeal

@MegaMichelle@a2mi.social I think the war has been, is, and will always be about Vi & Emacs. It will never be about VSCode because the weight is different. Vi/Emacs is the Jomsviking of text editing. #Vi #Emacs #VSCode
