  More than 5000 Spokane homes have been evacuated. At least 640 structures destroyed. Probably the worst fire in Washington state's history. I have to stay indoors today with air cleaners running. The sun is deep orange. I had to evacuate last year.   The only (somewhat) decent photo I got from the aurora last night (E. Washington-WA). The bright Moon rose soon after and washed it out. I could still see the aurora for about an hour after this photo but it looked very faint. I shook my fist at the Moon and cursed it. #aurora #space

  @HopelessDemigod Aw, I want to watch CBC over the air. I listen to CBC radio. You folks get to watch our local PBS TV station OTA (KSPS Spokane, WA). Here's their coverage map, which I find pretty amazing. Maybe if we could watch better programming down here our nation wouldn't be quite as nutty.😉

  @HopelessDemigod Great map, thanks. I picked up Winnepeg last month when my power went out. AM DXing is meh in my house unless I turn off all of the power. I pick up Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver with the power on.

  I finally found the location of the crater the Artemis II crew just named after Commander Reid Wiseman's deceased wife Carroll Taylor Wiseman. She died of cancer in 2020. Interesting location. Carroll is a small crater that we probably can't see from Earth, but from here we can easily know where it is.   Dance scene I edited from "The Night Court" (1927). This was one of the very first talkies. It was shot while "The Jazz Singer" was being made next door. The dance costumes were used in both movies. The sound was recorded on a Vitaphone disk synced to the film.
