RE: https://meow.social/@rawenwolf/116641503201042218 So ... How long until I'm sent to proverbial "correctional facility" at work? :vlpn_nervous:

While I see "agent spec" files in project repositories as a massive warning sign if not an outright red flag (seriously, if your project is trivial, you don't need a coding equivalent of a blindfire missile), I sometimes read the spec markdown out of curiosity. And all I'm to say is: "Holy shit and I thought customers have no idea what they want." Example from today: "Maintain high performance and correctness standards" Ok, what's the performance metric...

"I think I'm the one holding the winning hand. What's that? The sword on my back? You want it? Well, come try and get it. :neofox_evil: " RiokuArt (https://riokuart.carrd.co/) giving my digi-boy a bit of a power-up.

Tbh, my inner warning system with how I feel things are going (no personal crisis yet but you know, hope for the best, prepare for the worst) I'm starting to seriously consider something I always told myself to never do so it doesn't burn me out: I'm legit considering turning my art hobby, which I do for fun and sometimes as a form of self-therapy, into a side-job :vlpn_nervous:

Having my hands slightly more free during due to work machines being busy, I put some time into trying to write the data generator for the test case in a cleaner way (believe me, the code is horrendous). It took barely half a day to remind myself why I'm a WMD with C++ in my hands :neofox_devil: And you know what's the best part? The code makes sense and I just need to glance at it instead of having to set half the Earth on fire, read the "generated mess" and do it again all o...

Gotta say, so far my move to GOS seems to be going smooth (aside from that Telegram bullshit but at least I have yet another reason to put it on a "phase out" list). Massive good points to my bank's app for working in the private profile with the sandbox GPS with no tinkering needed. Edit: installs Revolut OK, this one I know is fussy. logs in, goes through verification, everything is fine aside from Biometric unlock not available which isn't a big deal Umm ... This is going a...

I think at his rate it can almost be safely assumed that US Tech and Free (in both sense of that word) can't be in the same sentence. So far the only source so take with a grain of salt but seriously, just because #bitwarden has European data centres doesn't mean you own your data. https://www.fastcompany.com/91542655/bitwarden-scrubs-always-free-and-inclusion-values-from-its-website-as-longtime-execs-step-down

TIL that you can actually possess negative self-awareness. Who might that be, you ask? Well, my company of course and its "Essentials" training. Seriously, the thing I've just witnessed and suffered through is beyond dehumanising.

Given the recent talk of "sentient machines" (term coined by people who wouldn't recognise sentience even if it kicked them in the nuts), I wonder how big is the intersection between the set of people who call "data vomit generators" sentient and the set of people who consider social sciences "useless woke trash". Something tells me that the intersection (not intersex, hold your horses autocorrect :vlpn_blep: ) is going to be really l...
