  I suspect another reason why the valley managerial class is so into LLMs is that unlike the human programmers there is no risk that the "AI" will raise any concerns, drag their feet, or outright refuse to implement anything that might in some ways be unethical or illegal. Under that light it's a "so what if it costs more and won't always do the right thing, it not saying no to my most sick wants is a feature worth paying for"

  I have one small niche gripe about @ivory - I am super used to swiping from left to right to get back to the timeline after looking at a thread, and while this does work most of the time, a lot of other time this same gesture gets interpreted as a "I would like to reply to whatever post that happened to be under my finger" which is an action I never want to take. Is there perhaps some way to turn that off?
