im sick of the nintendos and the xboxs and the playstations. i want a small cheap console that can fit in my pocket that indie people can make and sell games for like $1-8... im sick of the $500 console and the $70-80 games.

The developer of Parking Garage Rally Circuit just released a video going through, in detail, explaining how the driving car physics work in his game. I am very thankful for this kind of thing since I have wanted to make an arcade style racing game but didn't understand how the underlying logic worked. Very interesting video, you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/wOAAitKoV9M #gamedev #gaming

Hello! Welcome in! Have a seat, get comfortable, and prepare yourself to take a trip back in time. I would like to take you a time before the internet, before 3d graphics, before even the likes of Nintendo or Sega. A time when your options for virtual entertainment were limited to the few systems that connected to your television set (the Atari VCS (later renamed the 2600) and the Intellivison), a home computer (such as the Apple ii, Commodore PET / 64, or the Radio Shack TRS-80), or your local...

i think, frankly, fortnite has done more harm than good for the gaming industry and i am eagerly awaiting it and epic game's downfall. putting a free live service game out into the world and constantly giving it updates is simply an unsustainable and stupid business practice and i can't wait for it to die and be a thing of the past. context: see Peak developers getting flack for not continuing to make free updates.

Gamers really be out here spending $8 on a lovingly crafted indie game and then get upset once the free content updates stop coming. Like, pick a side, either get used to indie gamedevs not being at your consumerist beck and call or go play Fortnite.

i know i basically fell off the face of the earth for like two whole years, but im looking to make a slow comeback. I don't have any big project that i've had in the works to come back with, unfortunately, but I do plan on doing the May Wolf game jam next month to make a little furry visual novel for y'all to enjoy. I also have plans to host a game jam over the summer, more to come on that as soon as i can get it all worked out. Thank y'all for being patient wit...

The NO ICE in Minnesota charity bundle on itch.io has already reached it's $100k goal and it's only been just over a day since it's went live. There is still a month left to get the bundle. Please, if you haven't already, go pick it up, tell a friend, spread the word. It's $10 for over 1000 independently made projects made with love by the itch community and all the money going to a good cause. 3 of my games are in the bundle also, so you'd be ge...
