  Any fellow Aussies have a quality home weather station recommendation? My parents gave us a Jaycar one when we moved in over eight years ago. It's been limping along for several years now, intermittently works. I keep thinking about designing and making something, but realistically I don't think I'll ever put that time in. (Although if there was a solid existing open source design then I'd consider building one.)

  This morning I noticed that my little home server's Home Assistant OS VM was configured with libvirt domain type="qemu" instead of type="kvm". (As one does, I suppose?) That four to three letter change makes quite the difference to CPU usage and power consumption! I'd quietly judged Home Assistant for being unreasonably resource hungry, but the culprit was me and my footgun collection once again...

  I want a torrent tracker for manuals. Like manualslib/manualzzz/blahblah but good. None of the HTML summary nonsense, just torrent downloads of PDFs and an obsessive nerd community making sure only the cleanest and most up to date copies are posted. Surely the EU or someone should fund this!
