Managed to finish off my migration to #CachyOS today. Part of that is a (sadly necessary) reinstall of #Windows into a much smaller home. Holy fucking shit is that process a nested nightmare of #DarkPatterns. &quot;Do you want to enable this?&quot;, &quot;Do you want to disable this?&quot;, &quot;Do you want this? (tiny skip link)&quot; - multiple times each and in various combinations or orders. That&#39;s on top of the hassle just getting a working USB bootable...

I use #JetBrains ( #PHPStorm &#39;s) shelves quite a lot. They&#39;re generally pretty nice at letting me compartmentalise the things I&#39;m working on if I need to be doing a bunch. But I don&#39;t know why I do it cause they keep biting me in the arse. Whats that? Patch failure? Rollback? Finished up Matt Dinniman&#39;s Operation Bounce House last night and am unsure how to feel about it. They're such entertaining books and they just keep getting better. I'm now giving the audio books a go since I've heard good things about the narration/production and so far I'm not disappointed.
