I use #JetBrains ( #PHPStorm 's) shelves quite a lot. They're generally pretty nice at letting me compartmentalise the things I'm working on if I need to be doing a bunch. But I don't know why I do it cause they keep biting me in the arse. Whats that? Patch failure? Rollback? There, you've lost everything and now need to spelunk your archives or Time Machine and hope you don't miss some obscure file you made a 3 line change in that will break your env otherwise. #PHP
