I think Betty would probably talk about some of the things she's restricted from doing by her programming (Like flying ships and operating heavy machinery, or being sad, or doing a murder). Gozen would agree, and tries to help her overcome those hurdles, while others (like Jay) have reservations and feel that maybe those restrictions are in place for a good reason.

  #ScribesAndMakers 10. (Excluding time travel) Do you have a preference between books that progress linearly and books that jump back and forth in time (flashbacks etc)? Linearly. I don't mind the odd flashback, well used, but during that diversion, I always feel a tension to return to the main story. And if there are too many diversions or if it's unclear which is even the main story, I find the whole book frustrating.

  #WordWeavers 21—Does the change of seasons affect your writing at all? If so, how? Not noticeably, among all the other fluctuations. I have notable highs and lows that affect my writing (and all other aspects of my life) but as far as I've been able to tell, they're not seasonal.

  I have no evidence of this, but my guess is that nobody's buying tokens for Yellow (#Daz3d's AI thing which, to their credit, is trained on their own models) so they're dogfooding. It really seems like around the start of March they tasked some intern with churning out a new uninspired Daz Original character model every couple of days. We're never going to get anyone just admitting that their AI strategy was a mistake, are we? NFT deja vu.

No. CJ is a field researcher and academic, and his title is doctor, but the bureaucratic structure under which he operates isn't really discussed.   I'm trying to use extreme warm-cool light contrasts a lot in Moral Void, to help give that cyberpunk aesthetic. I keep accidentally painting myself into really tricky lighting corners though. I think I might just start claiming that it's intentional and totally capital-A Art.
