Last night&#39;s gig at the Star &amp; Shadow Tibshelf was a bit odd… nothing wrong with the music, but he was just sat in a corner on his laptop while a video played on the big screen. Could&#39;ve been doing his accounts for all anybody could tell. Parastatic + Late Girl were very good, bit of post-rock krautrock with mostly spoken word meanderings about brutalist architecture. (Ummm… much better than my description makes it sound.) (1/2) #music #NewcastleUponTyne

Out on a school night last night, at the Vault in Hexham to see Kaïa Kater with support from local The Early Purple. Anybody in the UK had cause to scrap a motorcycle recently, and might have recommendations for a company that could collect? We&#39;ve got a CG125-a-like that&#39;s beyond economical repair, kept for a few years as an insurance placeholder, but it&#39;s not worth keeping any longer and I&#39;d rather have the garage space. (If anybody wants it as a &quot;project&quot;, you&#39;re welcome to it, but I really don&#39;t think it&#39;s worth the effort.) #AskMa...
