Last night's gig at the Star & Shadow Tibshelf was a bit odd… nothing wrong with the music, but he was just sat in a corner on his laptop while a video played on the big screen. Could've been doing his accounts for all anybody could tell. Parastatic + Late Girl were very good, bit of post-rock krautrock with mostly spoken word meanderings about brutalist architecture. (Ummm… much better than my description makes it sound.) (1/2) #music #NewcastleUponTyne
