  I’m glad I finally got to see #HawkTheSlayer, though in retrospect I now realize I may have confused it with the better budgeted “Krull.” Still, it made for a worthy #Monsterdon flick. Even if the plot was lifted from somebody’s AD&D campaign, any movie with Jack Palance chewing scenery, random synth music soundtrack, and death by silly string isn’t all bad. I loved that it took itself seriously, but not ponderously. Great pick, everybody. Well done!

  Welp, that was a pretty good #Monsterdon flick, even if we fell short of a convincing massive pile of drowned giant locusts at the end. Both leads had genuine talent, the writing and effects were at least up to par for a 1957 giant radioactive grasshoppers movie, and it was a lot of fun overall. Thanks for the good time, everybody. Go forth and polygraph the giant insect of your choice. And always remember, playing excruciatingly loud music on your boat saves lives. #beginningoftheend

  I decided to watch the sunset tonight, so I joined #monsterdon very late with low expectations. #Zarkorr is meeting them. My wife bravely watched the first half or so, but has now chosen to dry her hair instead of watching the rest. I asked how it could take that long to dry her hair. She said, “I promise you, I will take that long.” I don’t think she’s coming back.
