  Simple camera focus coil. One power input (VDD). One chip. Then usually one i2c 1.8V IOVDD (direct or level shifter). And half of the kernel drivers mark i2c shifter as VDD and other way.   Wanted to unwind this evening, so I pulled my trusty old Motorola Moto G4 out of the drawer. It had become completely useless running 32-bit Android 7.0 these days... and then, somehow, a Linux kernel accidentally fell onto it. 😄 Time to see how much life this old device still has left.   Best of Sashiko: Later, rmi_read_block() populates item->reg_size bytes. If a malicious peripheral provides a descriptor with a small reg_size but sets multiple bits in subpacket_map "...malicious peripheral..." in the context of a touchscreen. So ‒ you take your phone to a repair center and they install a malicious touchscreen... Personally, I think the most "malicious" touchscreens are the aftermarket ones that claim to implement features they act...

  Sent the display notch cutout description file for the MacBook Pro (M2 Pro, 14"). It would be nice if, at some point, the GNOME desktop (e.g., Mutter/GNOME Shell) could work with this information and adjust UI elements accordingly. It enables tracking across all distributions, different kernel versions, and patchsets. Prove me you have right, even when obviously you don't have? Linux kernel contains all SoC, board specific bits + drivers. Let me translate for regular people: Google compiles minimal, itself not functional, Linux kernel core and then takes a glue (GKI) and put all the ugly stuff I mentioned in the first post it....
