  Every biker knows it, after some time: the speed of your bike doesn’t count, it’s how well she can brake that matters. The main limiting factor is whether you can stop, not how you accelerate. Likewise, the main limiting factor on computer backups is your retrieval solution. It doesn’t matter how many versions you saved if you cannot access them *easily*. And the same with coding: it’s not how fast you write code that matters, it’s how long it takes to debug.

  Big number release for a-Shell, my local iOS terminal: version 2.0.0 is out! The terminal rendering system switches to SwiftTerm by @Migueldeicaza: much faster, more responsive, and also supports Korean, Vietnamese and Braille keyboard inputs. Better VoiceOvers support too, better autocomplete, multi-arrow buttons…
