  This weekend is Gay Day at the Yuba and little Nevada City is inundated with hundreds of gays. Sniffies is quite hilarious right now.

  One thing that's unpleasant about a Linux desktop is you often end up looking at log files. And every big app is spamming all sorts of warnings and errors to the log files all the time. Like Chrome logs an error every 2 seconds. All of this is a very bad code smell. The engineers are clearly ignoring their own error logs.

  After 2 hours I got Borderlands 4 playing from my Linux box to my TV. Mostly. I still haven't tried to make HDR work and there's lots of little stutters. But at least the sound isn't delayed 2 seconds anymore. Linux gaming mostly works but there's still rough edges.

  @phanpy on my Android tablet the toolbar at the bottom covers the new post button. It does still work but it's very hard to hit it.

  Been dealing with a pinched nerve for the last week since laying back in a dentist chair set it off. Mostly okay but sitting at my desk is very uncomfortable. Weird combination of numb hand and sharp pain in one muscle in my back.

  Google Workspace bounced an email to my somebits email address. That stuff just forwards to my gmail account. I've learned two things today: Google's own forwarding of messages breaks DKIM and can cause email to be marked as spam just because of its own forwarding processGoogle leaked my gmail address in the bounce from the message sent to my somebits address. That's a major privacy violation!

  Chase is now requiring five factor authentication. I log in with password on the website, which prompts me to open the mobile app, which requires a thumbprint. Then the app also demands a PIN. That's three separate challenges plus two persistent devices. Every single time I open the website, even in the same browser session.

  Now that my email signatures are fully sorted out, I'm considering moving to p=reject as my DMARC policy. I am pretty sure none of my mail will be rejected, I send everything via Gmail with valid signatures. Any hidden gotchas I should think about?
