  So #cachyos comes with a DE setup for #niri, which they have defaulted to use in #noctalia shell. I'd never heard of Noctalia before, but man is it slick. Seems like I can fairly easily run other WMs in it. Maybe I'll give #mangowm a try next.

  oh boy, for a minute there I thought I was about to have my first issue with #cachyos. Went to plug my laptop into an external montor and... nothing. No charging. No display. Nothing. `paru -S displaylink` and it all works. A little silly today that this would need to be an add-in maybe, but pretty painless.

Then they link four separate documents, containing thousands of words which will take an hour or more to read through and years of legal schooling to actually understand. "A moment." Fuck you.

  My enthusiasm for using cloudflare workers on #rust is diminishing pretty rapidly. The docs for workers-rs are frustratingly incomplete. Example: I want to use a durable object to store session data for a multi-user interface. workers-rs supports durable objects, seemed like they translated to structs very nicely, I was excited to get going with them.
