So #cachyos comes with a DE setup for #niri, which they have defaulted to use in #noctalia shell.
I'd never heard of Noctalia before, but man is it slick. Seems like I can fairly easily run other WMs in it. Maybe I'll give #mangowm a try next.

@natecox I was doing a cachy install and noticed niri on the list. After playing with it there and now on fedora (w/o noctalia) I think I'm converted. We have amazing windowing innovations going on right now. Strange. I guess we had a boring 40 years because Apple and Microsoft convinced people there was just one way to do it. MSFT cribbing off AAPL the whole time.
