  Oh, great... YouTube finally realized where I live. Which means I'm now having to deal with a whole new truckload of uninteresting channels to block/stop recommending... 😭

  Tax season. Just filed my taxes. After a number of years of not paying (even getting returns!), and an exceptional year with not many small expenses (though there were large ones that do not count towards my taxes), the automated simulator tells me I will be paying through the nose this year, to the tune of €1500+... :despair:

  After my upgrade to #komodo 2.0 failed miserably (or rather, the update to the Periphery agents, which all lost connectivity to the server and I couldn't get it back), and me not wanting to spend extra time debugging it, I moved my #docker management to #dockhand. I don't miss any functionality for my use case, so that's a plus. Also appreciated: the automatic updates, which I used in Komodo, too. Meanwhile, Linux Update Dashboard has been helping me keep my #homelab servers update...

  Well, I was considering Booklore for my #homelab. However, after this little piece of information, that's right out... Not only has it become AI slop, the dev is making it REALLY difficult to be even remotely sympathetic... So, that's right out of the window, I'm sure there are other, non-sloppified, at least as good #selfhosted book management pieces of software...
