  Neighborhood gym is open again and we got new equipment! 🥳 They removed a good amount of cardio equipment that wasn't always used, there is still plenty left.

  The Hours (2002) was pretty good but didn't rate it as high as I thought I would've. Nicole Kidman won an Oscar for this but I feel like that should've gone to Julianne Moore or Meryl Streep instead. And that's only if we stick to this movie. That was a year where Nicole was the weakest of the list, not that she doesn't deserve an Oscar but not for this.

  Watching The Hours (2002) foe the first time. This is one of many movies I somehow missed. The early 2000s was a period when I wasn't watching a lot of current films, and I also don't even know of this made it to Monterrey where I was living at the time in theaters? I was also not spending a lot of money on movies. Nicole Kidman is unrecognizable. The cast list is, incredible. Along with the main three, we have Toni Colette, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Claire Danes, John C. Rei...

  Brandon is having surgery today to remove his gallbladder. It's a very routine procedure so it should hopefully all go well. I'm signed up for text updates from the hospital, so every time the status of the procedure changes, I get a message. It's like I'm waiting for my pizza order to be ready 😂

  I've been trying to read La Casa de los Espíritus, in its original Spanish. It's a very convoluted and detailed writing style. She spends a LOOOOT of words telling the story and I'm unfortunately not enjoying it. My ebook loan has expired and I don't think I'll be renewing it. I need a more books in Spanish though, I love reading in my native tongue.

  The gym TVs were constantly showing an anti-Steyer ad claiming that he only got Jane Fonda's endorsement after donating money to her PAC, among other things. Because it played so often, I was able to read the full fine print that shows up for like 5 seconds at the end. One of the entities behind it is PG&E, and them being against a candidate is enough for me to think this candidate is doing something right.
