    I updated neovim to 0.12.2 today, and it is completely broken. It deletes things I write, closes windows at random, goes to the next line when I `:w` and so many more bugs. It‘s the only thing I updated, and it worked completely fine before that. I‘m so angry, it is an essential tool for me and I‘m unable to work with this mess. I never had a vim or neovim update break anything in over 10 years. And now it is completely broken. For now, I will switch to vim, but I consider vim-classic and helix...

    It gets harder and harder for me to see any meaningful difference between iOS and Android. iOS is getting less privacy friendly (wait for Siri becoming Gemini), Android is getting less open. They look very similar. And outside the pre-installed apps, it‘s mostly web views and cross-compiled apps anyway.

    It feels like developers are currently split into two groups that do not really understand what the other group is talking about: One group tries to reduce their dependency on Big Tech by switching to alternative search engines, code forges, map providers, operating systems… And the other group is trying to increase their dependency on Big Tech by adopting agentic and/or vibe coding.
