  In this short interview, Kiyoshi Kurosawa talks about how the Japanese cinema industry is separated in two: 1 side for just commercial movies, one for only author movies. I'm not so knowledgeable about the industry there, but I've definitely noticed that before. When I ask random Japanese people, most of them have never heard of many of the directors that are well known in France. Concentration camps with physical and psychological torture, denying basic human decency and medical care, for people who have no recourse and often arrested arbitrarily during their everyday activities.
