I took two of the kitties (Jasper &amp; Rigby) out for a little touch grass time. They thought I said EAT grass and proceeded to do just that. They both freak out when I get out their harnesses and can hardly sit still long enough to put it on them. The neighbor kitties came over too but they largely ignore our cats as they see them on the catio all the time and I think both teams have long said all of the hissing that was necessary. It was a very nice day outside away from the chaos indoo...

I cherish my morning coffee. Not just the beverage itself but the brewing ritual. I normally only drink one cup in the morning and very occasionally one in the afternoon. Today I treated myself to a second cup and now I’m like a buzzing bee.🐝 Time to get a few things done while I’m full of energy! 🫨

Cat memories My wife used to be an avid hula hooper and had just recently sewn a hoop huggie for transporting her collection of hoops. One day we couldn’t find Rigby anywhere. Then I saw this. 😹

We over wintered 16 Black Swallowtail chrysalises. Three emerged awfully early, probably due to our high spring temperatures. Then things cooled back down and no more butterflies emerged. This morning I went on the catio to check on them and we have six butterflies! I tried to get a photo of all of them but could only get three. It’s always fun to release them and watch them flutter away.
