We over wintered 16 Black Swallowtail chrysalises. Three emerged awfully early, probably due to our high spring temperatures. Then things cooled back down and no more butterflies emerged. This morning I went on the catio to check on them and we have six butterflies! I tried to get a photo of all of them but could only get three. It’s always fun to release them and watch them flutter away.
