A sensible government right now wouldn&#39;t try to keep energy prices down at the cost of everybody by indebting themselves further to the rich. It would try to curtail excess use of fossil energy. E.g. immediate policies would be to ground private planes, enact a tempo limit for fossil cars. This does more for the poorest of consumers because they&#39;ll not be served the bill over time for this.

I don&#39;t know why they did, but Carney and Sheinbaum (and other people) could have just not said anything. This fake decorum regarding a fascist president achieves nothing, (some) Americans would only register your words if you would support the attempt. I sure wonder if the fascists just staged the whole thing to boost &quot;daddies&quot; poll numbers.

A true AI would actually be great and i would absolutely vote to immediately give it human rights and citizenship of every nation. Chances are we immediately need to invent AI therapists because the bullshit it would have to deal with from us would be hard to live with if you&#39;d be exposed to all of us at the same time.
