Ahhh I really don't manage to learn photo editing. I love taking pictures, but then when I try to process them in Darktable or RawTherapee, what I end with is always worse (to my eyes) than the JPEG out of the camera body, it's so frustrating. And I'm not used to not managing to learn something I dedicate myself to. It doesn't really bar me from taking pictures; I enjoy the process, and often the camera body JPEGs are good enough... but I want to do better than good enough, and...

Petit tip si un jour vous devez appeler le service client Mondial Relay : en insistant suffisamment que non on veut parler à un humain et c'est tout, c'est possible de se débarrasser de leur chatbot sans perdre un quart d'heure à répondre à ses questions (ce qui ne sert à rien vu que - comme dans 90% des systèmes de ce genre que je vois - l'humain en question vous repose exactement les mêmes questions derrière).

I don't get why Discord doesn't just have an APT repository. They already go through the effort of packaging their app in a .deb and providing regular updates, from there setting up a repository is negligible work and would be soooo convenient for people who use those packages.

Woah it's crazy how sharp, well contrasted black and white pictures can be more powerful on paper than on screen. I brought a roll to the lab last week and I got the scans last Monday and I was, well, some of them are okay, but they're really not my best. Today I got the paper pictures and woah, okay they're not my best, but they're way better than I expected.
