    in the lean zulip you&#39;re encouraged to introduce yourself in a specific channel and I would like to but (as usual) the feeling that it&#39;s not a space i belong in, especially after seeing how everyone has their PhDs and is working in cool math stuff and i&#39;d be like haiiii :neofox: i&#39;m just messing around, have contributed some lemmas to agda&#39;s stdlib and that&#39;s kinda about it

    RE: https://mastodon.social/@h4ckernews/116622074685603948 i was a bit skeptical but i think i agree with nearly every design decision here, even if i find the arguments a bit iffy sometimes. like when it calls malloc &#39;fiction&#39;, when the point of a standard library is to create fictions (some would say abstractions) so its users don&#39;t have to deal with lower-level aspects

    I&#39;ve seen several people making that mistake now... do NOT test for copy.fail by looking at the loaded modules. Linux has a hotplug mechanism that will often load the module on demand. a reliable preliminary test is creating an AF_ALG socket of the required type: python3 -c &#39;import socket; socket.socket(38,5,0).bind((&quot;aead&quot;,&quot;authencesn(hmac(sha256),cbc(aes))&quot;))&#39; if this fails, you&#39;re most likely not vulnerable

    RE: https://tech.lgbt/@mildsunrise/116429425526871733 i never said it when i wrote this post, but the reason i was thinking about this was because i suspected 4x4x4 and higher rubik&#39;s cubes may exhibit this subgroup in the 24 off-center edge pieces... and I was right! the orientation of the pieces is completely fixed by the permutation, so there isn&#39;t really a wreath product :neofox_woozy:
