    The sooner software makers have to bear full legal liability for their badly designed, faulty products — just like every other class of product manufacturer has to — the better.

    It&amp;#39;s become clear to me that the United Nations, despite continuing to do many good and useful things, has become unfit for its primary purpose: preventing war. Difficult question: How to restructure the UN to achieve that aim? Most difficult question: How to get the many Nation States to agree to such (hypothetical) restructuring, particularly the warmongering permanent members of the Security Council? #systemDesign

    Weather forecast for 222mm of rain next Wednesday. Time to build an ark. Actually, we&amp;#39;ll be fine (house on high ground) but we might easily get rained in for a few days if the road floods, as it occasionally has done in the past.
