  Two ferries around #Hamburg have stopped services (#Darchau and #Bleckede) due to low water. If this continues, we can soon just drive through the #Elbe instead of taking the tunnel or bridges. You can currently take a hike in the Rhine river instead of along it. #Germany is missing the water levels of an entire Bodensee contingent every year. #ClimateChange is going to dry out this once water-rich country with dire consequences. Within years.

  We'll win games again next season. #FCSP doesn't belong in this league, and it shows. They were so much better last season, defensively. That's the difference.

  Over. Loss, but expected loss. Lowest possible, 1:2, now our friends in Bavaria need to absolutely crush Volkswagen or it's over. Still. I fully expect #FCSP to be a second league club next season. And that's okay. We weren't strong enough. We need to rebuild. We need to find strikers and to stabilize defense. And we need to do the maximum with the money we have.

  After this gameday #FCSP is where we belong - last place. Heidenheim just has to beat Mainz and we're done, there's no chance we will score more than one goal, and any Heidenheim win then will not be enough. However, I fully expect to lose next weekend. I am ready for second league. This team needs to reform and needs a league where they can compete to do so.

  Congratulations to the Suburbians, who are staying in the league for a second season. Euphoria can do a lot. But it also is based on the weakness of the bottom three teams, #FCSP especially. Sigh. Wish we would've had more derbies. But alas, the curse.

  No win for Volkswagen, but a tie - and that sends #FCSP down. The fact that we still aren't relegated is absurd. 26 points. Really. Now we have to hope for a high win of our Bavarian friends, because quite frankly @fcstpauli won't get any points at Red Bull. But I'm already preparing for second league, where we will meet Schulle again!

  As expected - Volkswagen is winning and sending us where we belong, direct relegation. #FCSP has to play at Red Bull (guaranteed high loss), Volkswagen plays Bayern and might win it and decide it.

  If we don't go down now something is wrong. This #FCSP doesn't deserve a third season in the Bundesliga. Nothing points to anything else. Restart in the second league. But that is dangerous, could lead to third league. Coach won't stay. Wonder who will. St. Pauli is the only possibility, but one has to accept when the quality is just too low.

  Okay, the games so far really didn't go for #FCSP - and that's not surprising. We needed those points and missing them is going to hurt us badly. Congratulations to Freiburg, who are now safe, and Augsburg, who are nearly safe. Mainz can be safe tomorrow - but the way the games went I expect them to lose and make the distance to safety for @fcstpauli@mstdn.social five points. Basically, even if we win all games that are left relegation battles will be the maximum I expect. If we lose...

  Ooof. Bad passes by #FCSP caused two really good setups by Cologne, and at the end Said El-Mala slams it on the crossbar. Lucky us. Plus, there was a handball appeal by Cologne, but the ball went from an @fcstpauli@mstdn.social clearance on a non-stretched arm in a distance of less than a meter... ref waved it off.

  Cologne is not seeing much of the ball anymore now and #FCSP is just lacking one thing - as always: The márk. There were chances but two saves, one had to be perfect, stopped the rewards for the effort.

  Starting 11 by #FCSP is showing that Eric is moved up, Hauke, Tomoya and Adam as center backs, Lars on the left wing back, Arik moves back to right wing back. Midfield is filled with Captain Jackson and Joel, up front Mathias P. and Danel. Niko in goal, of course. Solid. Maybe David can get some playtime for Adam later in the game! He's on benck, as are Andreas, Louis and Mathias R.

  Not so fun fact: It is, in most cases, cheaper for US citizens to fly to another country (like France or Germany), get out-of-pocket paid vaccines against diseases that are eradicated in these countries (like rabies), and pay hotel costs for the two weeks of treatment, than getting a single treatment in the US, even with their health insurance covering most of the cost. The US is for healthy people. Not many people there are healthy.
