Built a pair of Corsi-Rosenthal boxes to deal with the smoke. Pepper hates fans, but she loves them. I guess the filters have a nice gentle intake breeze. (No photos yet despite it being #caturday.)

Marathon Madness The car is loaded, the lights are charging, and I&#39;m getting excited. Tomorrow I&#39;ll be participating in the Midnight Marathon, a pirate ride of the annual Boston Marathon route. As the name implies, it sets off from Hopkinton at midnight. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was gray &amp; my mood matched. Today is sunny &amp; warm. I am happily enjoying a few minutes on a park bench between appointments. The sun feels good and my view of a busy highway is still nice.

Watching an old #Emergency! episode. Still love the show half a century later, and I keep noticing things on rewatch: 1. Pregnant woman accidentally shot in abdomen, unresponsive. No blood, everyone is calm, vitals are crap. This is a LEVEL ONE TRAUMA. In modern TV (The Pitt etc.) this would be a huge deal, with a rapid team response. On 1970&#39;s TV? The words say bad things are afoot, but we see none of it. She survives, husband faints. Cue laughs. 1/N

Got the utility trailer out of storage today. Was a bit upset to note it needs tires. It’s still new! Wait, bought it in 2018. Been to Indiana 3x, NYC twice, plus my local usage. In that time I’ve changed trucks, put new tires &amp; a starter on the new one. Bought a car, wore it out, bought another. Ok, maybe not so new. Time is weird since the pandemic began. I guess I can buy some more tires.

Town meeting tonight. I must force myself to sit here quietly and vote. Just Sit Here No matter how dumb it gets. I cannot fix people by myself. The goal is to simply emerge with a working budget. Everything else would be cake.
