A cool thing about having my own router with OpenWrt instead of the completely locked one from the ISP is that I get a log showing a lot of PPPoE timeouts and reconnections. This looks as reliable as the previous ISP just before they found their infrastructure unsalvageable. Maybe I need technologies that would accept a minute or more of lower layer unavailability, so I wouldn&#39;t be getting e.g. errors from Mastodon not being able to send a post, or the email client hanging on broken co...

I've recently played The Prank series of furry visual novels (everything in 1, parts of 2), and I like it. It's short and has animated sex scenes, probably not usually played for the plot, but there is the fun in discovering all the scenes. One specific thing I highly dislike about it is the image of a dildo with no flared base, the experienced character having it should've known better. Otherwise recommendable.

I bought a used Polish-language book and I'm happily surprised that it has been printed in Almaty. I previously believed that translations are almost always published in places of the target language, not of the people of the author.

I've recently read about a hundred pages of Theurgy, a BL webcomic about a human-demon relationship, and I like it. (Also that these pages involved a beach episode of shirtless hunks having fun.) Thinking that music events could be more accessible over VR: volume control, no need to travel. Still so many issues apply, and some extra ones unique to online things. There are cool videos of these which I wouldn't look at due to flickering lights.

Thinking how the security risk of photos revealing fingerprints would apply to a world of anthros with canines having their unique nose patterns. (And probably non-identifiable paw pads.) I see a photo of a happy big dog&#39;s face, with the nose completely in focus.

I really enjoyed the more &quot;fear of the unknown&quot; horror parts. SecUnit getting into places which I imagine via what I know of Alien media and of cosmic horror stories. There is more for me to learn from the parts with humans, but now I feel a need for more horror-focused scifi series.

Thinking of the people I have known or have known to interact with whom governments have seriously hurt. Mostly the victims of the health care system being underfunded and mismanaged by all the recent governments here. (I had a dream of meeting one of them.)

My weirdest game input issue is the Xbox 360 controller&#39;s d-pad buttons not matching the directions in games. I have to remember which ones to use for the various things in a game using them, but that doesn&#39;t match the display (I just found the &quot;down&quot; button does what a game labels as &quot;right&quot;).
