Some folks write 5pm to 3am. Other folks write 17:00 to 03:00. Japan, on the other hand… (I believe this is called the 30時間制 (sanjyūjikansei) and is used to avoid timing ambiguity. May have something to do with the hours of darkness being connected to the previous day, too.)

Witnessed a DPD driver park up with Lou Bega’s Mambo No. 5 on FULL blast while shakily delivering a parcel in one hand and taking the fattest of rips from a vape in the other.
