So, I have a situation where a much older person in my family keeps clicking on YouTube ads and things like that on their Android phone, turning it into an adware riddled landmine within hours of use. Is there an easy way to block all ads for them? Switching to using a browser and adding adblock there is not an option, they have a very hard time remembering new ways to do things these days. @ifixcoinops@retro.social I am kinda scared of getting a domain that I have to pay for on a recurring basis because recurring things that I then attach my life to is kinda :jackal_yell2: I am also actually suspicious of having to pay for a domain, the whole structure there seems very very "many people in the middle are claiming money" to me and I Do Not Like And then somehow getting my website linked up to a domain is weird and esoteric and I've forgotten everything I once knew...

@Njord I don't use them for the same reason I don't use AWS and all that, but coworkers keep using them for things that I 100% know there are templates for that do the exact same thing! Because I've used those! So it just ends up being "use a thing that replaces a thing that also exists and does this same job but with a guaranteed working outcome". I guess that falls under worse than useless?? The few things that people seem to use that "win" anything fall under...

One Piece live action has brought back my love for film. Finished the second season. Everyone brings such an enthusiasm with them.
