@ifixcoinops@retro.social I am kinda scared of getting a domain that I have to pay for on a recurring basis because recurring things that I then attach my life to is kinda :jackal_yell2: I am also actually suspicious of having to pay for a domain, the whole structure there seems very very "many people in the middle are claiming money" to me and I Do Not Like And then somehow getting my website linked up to a domain is weird and esoteric and I've forgotten everything I once knew about how to do that, somehow the plain IP address looks more logical to me :jackal_yell2: All that to say that I have a neocities, I even have a self hacked together one of a kind static website generator (not a static markdown generator!!), but I do not have a domain
