Devlog: Update on the text editing journey on Android, iOS, macOS, Safari, and Chrome. it works! Still not finished, but progress is promising. All platforms have pixel-perfect, 1:1 text layout and rendering with first-class native rich text editing. Portable text layout and editing are not solved problems. Many factors play a role, resulting in the same text rendering differently on every platform. Even worse, it renders differently between web browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome).
