IMO one thing that the effectiveness of agentic software development highlights is just how often everyone is re-solving basically the same problems.

Turns out one of the big challenges of agentic software development is just keeping track of which VS Code project I'm currently looking at.

My kids have unusual interests, but I have to admit it's kinda cool (bought from an auction site)

From Xcode 26.5 release notes - “Fixed: Users interacting with Claude Code might receive an error message about their OAuth token being expired." Hallelujah!

I love AirPods Pro, but I have to admit they have the most reliability issues of any Apple product i've owned (except maybe the butterfly keyboard). I've had noise cancellation fail on 3 different sets.

Submitted my first iPhone app for approval. 🤞 My first time through this rodeo, I'm sure I messed something up.

I mean, this agreement to not audit the Trumps isn't a law, right? I would assume the next Democratic administration would immediately tear that agreement up.

I'd like to see Democrats starting to talk about how people and companies that take advantage of Trumps corruption will pay the price with the next administration. Contracts will be cancelled, permits will be revoked, land will be reclaimed, fraud will be prosecuted.

It's bonkers to me that iOS App Store subscriptions don't have an option for “<x> day free trial that doesn't auto-charge at the end of the trial”

Will the media ever stop just credulously repeating Trump's assertions, ie “we're close to an agreement with Iran”?

Trump is the Lucy-est Lucy to ever Lucy, and the media is the Charlie-Brown-est Charlie Brown to ever Charlie Brown.

Why does running the TikTok app lower my iPhone screen brightness almost all the way down? Why are apps even allowed to do that?

There’s something wild about sitting in the hot tub, having a sudden app idea, and then immediately vibe coding it through a Claude remote session

*Inigo Montoya voice* You keep using that word ceasefire. I do not think it means what you think it means.

My expectation is that Trump will be unable to resist sabotaging any Iran agreement due to a pathological need to appear strong and dominant.

How bad does it have to be that it's Florida, land of de-regulation and anti-vax, are the ones suing OpenAI over safety concerns?

Did Tapestry lose the ability to track your timeline position? That was the main reason I was using it. It usually scrolls to the top when I open it now. @Iconfactory@iconfactory.world

The problem with Anthropic Mythos is that it will never really be safe to release it - all of those old internet connected devices that will never have their software updated will be vulnerable.

I didn't really have that much interest in the new transcription feature of Overcast until I realized it could be used to skip commercials. Now I use it constantly.

The things that I don't understand about the “lay developers off because AI makes them more productive" plan: 1) I've never worked for a company that didn't have a roadmap that's a million miles long. So..why not leverage AI to tackle that work, and leapfrog their competitors? 2) AI can make individuals or small teams so productive they are potentially spawning a whole bunch of competitors without their legacy cruft. Things I do understand about the p...
