why can't IDs just have a chip with the information on it and cryptographically signed by the issuing authority so you can be sure it's not fake

Hey fedi. Both me and my gf could really use some donations. We both have a lot of debt that we're struggling a bit to pay off, and she's not able to work, and I do work, but don't make much and a lot of it goes to just living expenses. Does anyone know resources to help minors quit smoking in Berlin, without getting them in trouble? Wanna help someone who's already smoking and doesn't wanna stop, but don't wanna get them in trouble for underage smoking.
