@chrisod I have seen various tools that can create Markdown files from HTML, so it doesn’t seem like an insurmountable task. Recreating the settings file and theme, if customized, would be less straightforward but also possible given the capabilities of text-extrusion tools these days.

Anyone have experience with django-extra-views, positive or negative? https://github.com/AndrewIngram/django-extra-views For inline editing of #Django model instances related to a parent model (using a foreign key), one could use the InlineFormSetView… https://django-extra-views.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pages/formset-views.html#inlineformsetview … but are there alternative approaches you’d recommend instead?

Watching clips of 1950s professional basketball players makes you realize how much players have improved over the years. I believe the same can be said of Darwin Award contenders. https://fops.cloud/objects/a61c1c91-6c9b-430a-a638-5748e216f086

QuickTune by @marioguzman is such a cool project. I don't use Apple Music, but if #QuickTune could be used to play music via Jellyfin or Plex servers, it would occupy a permanent space on my monitor 🎶 https://marioaguzman.github.io/quicktune/

I am really looking forward to Django on the Med in September. Wonderful hosts, participants, and location. I’m particularly excited to have @paulox show us around Pescara, which has been on my must-visit list for far too long! 🏖️ https://chaos.social/@carlton/116441476480116559

A while ago I created a Mastodon account for Pelican on Fosstodon, and then shortly after there was a hullabaloo involving one of the admins, and some instances responded by de-federating from Fosstodon. Then new leadership took over Fosstodon, and I get the impression the situation has stabilized. Is that true? Have instances re-federated? If not, I’d prefer to make the move now. My core question: Should I keep the Pelican account on Fosstodon, or should I move it to another instance?
