  I feel so so exhausted today. It was so hot, so humid, and the air was all smoke. Even with my mask it was too much. Spent a lot of time today volunteering, so my social battery is nearly depleted. It was a wonderful day, otherwise.

  I had a horrifying dream that the Ottomans suddenly returned and remade their empire specifically in Ontario. Toronto and Waterloo merged to somehow became New Instanbul. The nightmarish part of the dream was that my favourite banh mi place moved away from the city for unrelated reasons and I was so sad.   Not looking forward to setting up the port forwarding for my server. I need to install a mobile app just to change some settings on the router, because for some reason Rogers thinks it's a lovely idea to make it only accessible via a mobile phone. Oh, and the UI SUCKS. It's very confusing. It's oversimplied in a way where I couldn't figure out how to port forward.   Was out shopping for clothes and in 4 different stores the men's section only had t-shirts, hoodies, and jeans to offer. I felt more embarassed to go through the men's section than the women's section because it's just so boring 😭 There were some pretty cute tops I found on the women's section but ended up not buying anything 🥀

  I gave away Lucie (Thinkpad T520) to someone who would be happier with her because she was just gathering dust in my closet floor. I'm pretty happy she's getting a bit more love now. In other news, I'm happy that my server machine Gerado's SSD is actually alright, just that I need to replace a SATA cable. Before I thought the SSDs was dying or something but turned out that wasn't the case at all. Phew.
