What started the trend of hard luggage bags being “ribbed”? Was it that Away brand?

Remember, when something in the news upsets you, you are *not obligated* to spend the next hour hunched over your phone reading live updates and social media hot takes. You *can* stay informed without succumbing to this urge -- an urge deliberately conditioned into us for decades by the 24-hour news cycle and exploitative for-profit social media. Step away from your screens, let your psyche absorb the blow, and read about it in a newspaper tomorrow morning if you like. You have permission!

I remember *actively trying* to enjoy LCD Soundsystem in 2005, and failing. How did people get tricked into liking this guy?

It absolutely breaks my heart whenever I see an artist using Instagram as their main or even their only online portfolio.

I must have walked past these tiles hundreds of times at South Station and never noticed this. In my defense it’s very low and behind a railing. There is no placard or anything explaining what it is. #Boston #MBTA

I'm playing through Breath of the Wild again, and I forgot Gleeoks weren't in this one. Not to mention Colgera. You have to hand it to BotW for being first, but it's amazing how TotK improved on it in every single way.

@playdate will no longer accept any generative AI in its games catalog. EDIT: this applies only to “art, audio, music, text, dialog.” AI-assisted code is still permitted, with disclosure. #Playdate https://help.play.date/catalog-developer/ai-disclosure/

Capitalism never uses productivity to pay for leisure. It only uses it to pay for more productivity. We have leisure because of unions, not because of productivity. (i.e., AI will not result in a 4-day workweek.)
