I&#39;ve hit the point that if my doorbell rings and I&#39;m not expecting it - I don&#39;t answer. I&#39;ve had too many times it&#39;s been a pushy scammer or pushy religious person. Posting this as I ignore some Jehovah&#39;s witnesses on my porch. Does anybody actually answer unexpected knocks and rings anymore?

Had my first-ever PR come in on GitHub that involves AI. It improves memory usage and performance for miniflac, my single-file FLAC decoding library. I can&#39;t accept code written by AI and, I think if I keep code up on GitHub I&#39;m kind-of contributing to all the AI nonsense? None of my projects are particularly popular. I see people concerned that in the near future, it will be impossible to distinguish AI from reality. This is really worrying. Not because of AI getting that good (though that is worrying) - but there&#39;s one sure-fire way to always distinguish AI from reality. Get off the tech. Sounding more and more appealing to be honest.
