Had my first-ever PR come in on GitHub that involves AI. It improves memory usage and performance for miniflac, my single-file FLAC decoding library. I can't accept code written by AI and, I think if I keep code up on GitHub I'm kind-of contributing to all the AI nonsense? None of my projects are particularly popular. I got so excited when I saw the notification, description, etc. But then I see that "co-authored by claude" and by heart sank. I can't accept it. #flac #oss #OpenSource
