Took my corvette in for its annual oil change and the service department entrance had this new booth you had to drive through to enter. Full of lights and cameras. I asked what does it do and the service writer showed me his screen. - entire panoramic view of all body panels - lit up full undercarriage photo to look for damage or leaks - tire tread depth - date codes on tires - he said it can tell alignment issues as well It was pretty cool.

Finally posted my #MARCHintosh results - https://jonschwenn.com/marchintosh-2026/ I had intended to post this a month ago, but things have been busy. I want to be more intentional about writing on my website more this year. It feels like documenting things on actual websites you run is a thing of the past and important details or knowledge is lost into the ether that is social networks or videos.

I just realized OpenAI has aquired Cirrus Labs, makers of Tart. Good for them, super nice folks — but sad for the long-term viability of Tart and Orchard 😕

RE: https://raru.re/@ocean/116365388918495558 I know I had a page on AngelFire ~30 years ago, but I highly doubt I’d be able to remember the address or find it in any of my archives. That amount of years sounds improbable, but then I realize I’m old.

I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve removed all the extensions and played with “blocking trackers for Safari trying to fix this. Safari on my iPhone has become unusable to the point where any new tab takes 30+ seconds to “resolve DNS” or start loading. It’s not DNS though. It’s a new behavior introduced in the last few months. Installed Chrome and it works flawlessly. I’m just annoyed there isn’t a way to troubleshoot or fix safari without having to wipe and restore. Maybe a question for #a...
