    TIL Salt-and-Pepper noise https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt-and-pepper_noise I was seeing something like this on an analog signal recently, forcing me to implement a filter. I didn’t know that this type of noise had a name, such as fitting one at that! In the end I found the source for that noise and got it fixed, still, figuring out a filter was quite fun!

    had a fantastic time at #emfcamp, seeing so many lovely people, raving at nullsector and being slow-cooked in the heat :D I of course brought the infrared camera, all the vibrant colours of emf are gone through it&#39;s lens. Even the gold member lounge turned silver :D #emf2026 #infrared

    bouncing, colour changing DVD logo deployed with @fionafokus@mystical.garden ✅ #gpn24 This is a very cursed setup, an old gobo with a custom stencil from JLCPCB, featuring amongst others the dvd logo. It’s being moved by a mirror on two motors and the colour change is done by a color wheel advancing on every bounce :D this project has been on the backburner (my bedroom) for two years now :&#39;D
