TIL Salt-and-Pepper noise https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt-and-pepper_noise I was seeing something like this on an analog signal recently, forcing me to implement a filter. I didn’t know that this type of noise had a name, such as fitting one at that! In the end I found the source for that noise and got it fixed, still, figuring out a filter was quite fun!
