Trying something new and fun: instead of a "link tree" (a list of links to social accounts), I tried making a "link graph" and organizing them by the two most important axes of my online vibe: technical detail and whimsy https://www.jeremykun.com/linkgraph Feedback plz

It is really shocking to me how often software engineers equate "building a compiler" purely with the front end (parsers, DSLs, syntax ergonomics)

Niobium Microsystems (disclosure, I am partnering with them on FHE stuff) announced that, instead of a "cloud" computing platform they are starting a "fog" computing platform, which is the same as the cloud but where the cloud provider can't see any of your data because it's protected by homomorphic encryption. That's a bit of a fun play on words.
