I used to be so annoyed by that &quot;show, don&#39;t tell&quot; advice. Writing fiction is called &quot;storytelling&quot; for a reason! There&#39;s no showing without telling. Then I discovered that Chekhov never said that. I&#39;m Fediverse dizzy at the moment, but in a fun way. I have two separate accounts: this one, and the pixelfed one. I use the pixelfed one from its interface. I just discovered this account in its mastodon form. It has its own separate count of boosts. Also, I finally see where the photos of others that I reposted from pixelfed go. From what I understand about Mastodon now, the more people I follow, the better chances I have to find discussions I&#39;m interested in. Not that it&#39;s a complete Catch-22, but it’s certainly hard to start discovering things when your following list is quite short.
