I am using illustrations from a book as characters in my game. My son (11) saw me screenshotting and cutting the pictures. &quot;Mum, you can&#39;t do this! You will get into trouble with the copyright!&quot; Said book is from 1855. He was only happy after looking up how long copyright holds him self. I think the kids will be alright.

I am finally writing the actual story for my little game. It&#39;s coming together! I only need to do little tweeks to the gameplay and finish putting all the dialogue in. #travellersjam #gamedev

Feeling down today. The house next door is being turned into an HMO. The flytipping hot spot which was finally being cleared has received a new &quot;load&quot;. My husbands flights got cancelled, yay to no break of solo parenting. On the plus: I&#39;ll finish early today and have a swim.

We went to the UK Board game Expo over the weekend and naturally came home with some new games, two of which have already proved to be new favourites. So highly successful! BUT there is no space in the shelves. Some destashing has to happen. What is the mastodon/fediverse way of selling stuff, in particular board games? Is there a separate app or are people doing it via mastodon? Are there hashtags I should add? What is the done thing? #askfedi #boardgames
