I am building another #iOS app to help me learn #japanese . This one is not about reading, like Yomu, but about analyzing and explaining grammar in Japanese sentence. Looking for fellow #japaneselanguage learners to test the beta available via TestFlight. Link and more info at https://setsumeiapp.kulman.sk/ #iosdev #languagelearning #translation #linguistics

For a long time I have been looking for a midsize (36mm) Omega Seamaster for my small wrist. Omega stopped making midsize versions years ago. Now it is just 41mm and 42mm. I originally wanted the "Bond" one with light blue aluminum bezel insert but that scratches very easily so it is very hard to find one in a good condition. I found one with steel bezel for a good price and could not resist. For a 20-25 years old watch it still looks very good, no big scratches or over-po...

Now that there are interesting small language models available I am back to my idea to make a app that would explain Japanese grammar to student like myself. Currently working on a prototype to test the feasibility because I want it to work on every iOS device not just the few ones that support running the local Apple models so I am training my own small model. So far so good the prototype works on my iPhone 15. Everything works locally and offline. #iosdev #ios #japanese

A friend suggested I translate a few posts from my Slovak blog, where I write about things other than programming, into English. He thinks some of them deserve a wider audience, so let’s give it a try. Here’s one of my favorites: How I explored Tokyo and found peace there https://www.kulman.sk/en/how-i-explored-tokyo-and-found-peace/ #travel #japan #tokyo
