Now that there are interesting small language models available I am back to my idea to make a app that would explain Japanese grammar to student like myself. Currently working on a prototype to test the feasibility because I want it to work on every iOS device not just the few ones that support running the local Apple models so I am training my own small model. So far so good the prototype works on my iPhone 15. Everything works locally and offline. #iosdev #ios #japanese
