  I’m going to see if I can replicate the writing setup I have in Scrivener in iA Writer. I only use a tiny subset of Scrivener's features these days. Mainly separate docs for different sections of an article. Then Export as a Word file via Compile in Scrivener to stitch the sections into a finished document. iA Writer folders in iCloud should be able to replicate that. And make it simpler to move between Mac, iPad, and iPhone for adding to a writing project.
